The Bysons, formed of Mike and Jadie, are a musical duo and life partners from Baltimore, Maryland. Their debut EP “Meet the Bysons” spawned from their travels around Asia in 2023 where they channeled their flurry of inspiration into music. The Bysons recorded their songs in Austin, Texas at the Melted Igloo. “Meet the Bysons” is a vulnerable travel diary filled with love letters, confessions of fear, and an ode to the people, places, and adventures that have touched the Bysons on their journey.

The Bysons are building their musical project on a foundation of other artistic outlets. As a documentary photographer, Jadie sheds light on the stories and struggles of everyday people, amplifying their voices and advocating for change. Through her photography as well as her voice, Jadie is on a journey to explore all the beauty and complexities of life. Mike is a mixed media artist and has had his work exhibited in the Mid-Atlantic, Colombia, and Japan.


Blending the sweet sounds of Pedal Steel, Acoustic/Electric Guitar, Drums and Space with a big ass Bass, Dead on Deck has emerged as a spirited new Santa Cruz-Based Jam Band, off the heels of Dead & Company, and forever captivated by the Grateful Dead.
